About Dr. Emily Spence, DC
Dr. Spence is an associate chiropractor here at LA Health Solutions. She graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 2018 with a doctorate in chiropractic. Dr. Spence has considerable experience working hands-on with athletes from all backgrounds. She has an interest in working with sports injuries and athletes due to her own athletic background at the collegiate level. She was a 4-year letterman at McNeese State University where she ran track, participating in the heptathlon. During her collegiate career she suffered injuries of her own, which allowed her to gain a deeper understanding of the rehabilitation process and the benefits of chiropractic care. This is where her passion began to grow for the hands-on healing of chiropractic. In her second year at Texas Chiropractic College, she pursued further education in the care of prenatal women and pediatrics, graduating with a certification in Webster Technique. Dr. Spence understands and promotes the importance of healthy mothers and healthy babies. She also holds certifications in soft tissue mobilization techniques, such as FAKTR. Dr. Spence is excited to be serving in the New Orleans area.
